Can I Use My Hosting With ownCloud or Similar Apps?

Yes, but in moderation… In other words, your hosting service is NOT an online hard drive. We have found customers uploading all the files from their computer, as if their hosting service were a backup of their own machine. This type of use is not allowed on unlimited plans.
The usage limit for ownCloud on your unlimited hosting plan is 500MB, which is enough space to store that small group of files essential for running your business. (Your brother’s wedding photos are excluded.)
If you need an ownCloud or similar service on your hosting account that goes beyond the 500MB limit, we can of course provide it by billing you for the space you need. To arrange this, you can contact our technicians at ayuda@mihosting.com
