Yes, you can have multiple domains on a single hosting plan, as long as your plan allows it. This is known as addon domains, and it lets you host several independent websites within the same hosting account.

Here’s how it works and how you can set it up step by step.

🧩 What is an addon domain?

An addon domain is a domain different from your account’s main one, which can have its own website, files, and emails, completely independent from the main domain.

For example:

  • tudominio.com (main domain)
  • miotrodominio.com (addon domain with another website)

Both work as if they were separate sites, even though they’re under the same hosting plan.

✅ Does my plan allow multiple domains?

At mihosting.com, all plans include support for multiple domains.

🛠️ How to add an addon domain in cPanel or DirectAdmin

🖥️ In cPanel:

  1. Access your cPanel from your hosting account
  2. Go to the Domains section and click on Addon Domains
  3. Type the new domain (e.g.: miotrodominio.com)
  4. The system automatically creates a folder for the new site’s files
  5. Upload the website files to that folder, or install WordPress from Softaculous

🔗 Remember: You need to point the new domain to your hosting using DNS or IP (as we explained earlier).

🖥️ In DirectAdmin:

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin from your hosting account
  2. Go to Domains and select Add New Domain
  3. Type the new domain and define the options (space, bandwidth, etc.)
  4. Once saved, a separate space will be created for that domain

📧 Can I have emails with the new domain?

Yes! Once the addon domain is added, you can create email accounts such as:

From the same hosting panel.

🎯 Useful tips

  • Organize your files: each domain will have its own folder, so you avoid confusion.
  • If you install WordPress, do it inside the correct domain’s folder.
  • You can also have subdomains and redirects for each addon domain.
