1. Log in to your panel: Access your DirectAdmin account.
2. Find the Selector: In the Account Manager section, click on Select PHP Version.
3. Choose your version: You’ll see a dropdown menu with the available versions. Select the one you need (for example, 5.6).
4. Set as current: Click the Set as current button.
5. Verification: Done! Your website will now run under the PHP 5.x engine immediately.

Using PHP 5.x is very useful, but you should keep the following in mind:
