This is, without a doubt, a good decision. A locked domain is more secure against theft attempts, and all your domains should always be locked. You would only unlock them if you’ve decided to transfer the domain to another registrar. And once transferred, you’d lock it again.
To lock or unlock your domain, follow these instructions:

Choose the domain you want to lock or unlock.
