Introduction

An automatic signature lets you add details such as your name, role, company, phone number or website at the end of each message. In miHosting, you can configure it in Roundcube, one of the available webmail programs.

Before you start

Each mail program handles signatures independently. A signature created in Roundcube will be used when you send from Roundcube, but not necessarily from Outlook, iPhone or Thunderbird.

How to create a signature in Roundcube

  1. Sign in to webmail.
  2. Open Roundcube.
  3. Go to Settings.
  4. Open Identities.
  5. Select your mailbox identity.
  6. Find the signature field.
  7. Enter the text you want to add.
  8. Enable the HTML editor if you need formatting.
  9. Save the changes.

Conclusion

To add an automatic signature in webmail, open Roundcube, go to Settings and Identities, edit the signature and save. If you also send from other programs, create the signature there as well.
