Can I Use Collabora with Storage Share?

Yes, you can use Collabora with Storage Share, but you need to provide your own Collabora server. Setting up that server and connecting it to Storage Share are your responsibility.
Additional apps are also outside the service’s support scope.
Managing additional apps
You can manage additional apps from your profile menu:
- Open your profile.
- Go to Apps.
- Install the apps you want to use.
- From the same menu, disable apps you no longer need.
- You can also remove an app after disabling it.
An app appearing in this menu does not mean that its integrated version is available or that support can configure it for you. The integrated Collabora option is not supported for performance reasons.
What you need to use Collabora
To connect Collabora to Storage Share, you must:
- Provide your own Collabora server.
- Install and configure Collabora on that server.
- Use a dedicated server or a cloud server with suitable resources.
- Set up the connection in Storage Share settings.
A dedicated server or cloud server can be used as the infrastructure for Collabora.
Who manages the setup?
You are responsible for preparing the Collabora server and entering its settings in Storage Share. This includes maintaining the server and checking that the connection still works after any changes.
Support for the Storage Share service does not cover additional apps enabled by the customer. Before installing Collabora, make sure you can manage its server and handle technical issues.
Can I use the integrated version?
No. The integrated Collabora version is not supported for performance reasons. To use the tool, provide a separate Collabora server and connect it to Storage Share in the service settings.
What about OnlyOffice?
The integrated OnlyOffice version is also unavailable for compatibility reasons. If you prefer OnlyOffice, you will need to install and configure your own server and connect the service from Storage Share settings.
